so there's a guy here at work that also works for the best local venue. we talk about shows a lot, and i'd been hopingfingerscrossed for another trail of dead show at this venue, since last time they played it i was otherwise occupied seeing the faint and tv on the radio in portland.

so last week, the trail of dead second-leg tour dates finally went up. there was one open! between portland and ... petaluma?

so i copied and pasted that in an email to my coworker that went something like this:

current trail of dead tour schedule:

05-22 Portland, OR - Aladdin Theater
05-24 Petaluma, CA - Phoenix Theater

MAY 23! MAY 23!

just, y'know. something for the Powers That Be to consider?

he got that, and forwarded it to the booking guy. booking guy got it and forwarded it to the agent.

alas, the show isn't happening. but i giggle at knowing my email made it around a whole series of forwards while TRYING to make it happen.

tra la la. NCAA finals tonight. trying to care, but don't like UNC and don't know what to make of slightly scary "reverend" guy on UIUC. things are good. long talk yesterday, settling things in my head, reminding me not to be crazy. and so on and so forth. rock shows aplenty. i seem to hardly know what to say.
